The company’s new approach, dubbed 'Real Challenges. Proven Biosolutions,' responds to the mounting pressure on global farm profitability. According to the 2026 Global Farmer Insights survey by McKinsey, extreme weather is the primary concern for 58% of farmers in Latin America and 45% globally. This shift aims to bridge the gap between abstract climate data and the practical realities of managing crops in volatile environments, such as drought-prone soybean cycles in Brazil or margin instability in Mediterranean citrus production.
Riccardo Vanelli, Chief Innovation and Strategy Officer, emphasized that modern agriculture requires moving beyond prescribing single products for isolated problems. Instead, the company is deploying an AI-powered knowledge platform housing insights from over 4,000 trials to help field teams design integrated strategies. For instance, in recent trials, the company demonstrated that combining soil-functionality tools like TurboRoot and Humifirst allowed for a significant reduction in phosphorus inputs while maintaining higher yields. This evidence-based methodology is supported by the newly launched Rovensa Next Training Academy, which equips local teams to tailor interventions to specific regional soil types and climate pressures.
