Precisely Launches Unified Platform to Automate AI-Ready Data

Burlington-based Precisely has unveiled a unified data management platform designed to bridge the gap between fragmented enterprise storage and the requirements of autonomous AI systems. By utilizing a single metadata and semantic foundation, the tool aims to standardize data quality, governance, and location intelligence across complex, multi-environment infrastructures.

Modern enterprises often struggle with data scattered across cloud lakehouses, mainframes, and on-premises systems. When AI agents consume this inconsistent information, they risk scaling errors faster than human oversight can correct them. The Precisely Platform addresses this by providing a unified layer for data integration, quality, and observability without forcing organizations to migrate their existing ecosystems. Embedded AI tools, such as automated quality rules and intelligent matching, help teams reduce the manual expertise previously required to maintain data integrity.

Beyond basic management, the platform introduces measurable trust. Every data asset can carry quality and governance scores, offering leaders visibility into which datasets are fit for autonomous use. This is bolstered by built-in location intelligence and enrichment, which standardize geographical information to create a machine-readable model of the world. By integrating with AI assistants like Gio and utilizing the new Model Context Protocol, the platform allows developers to pipe governed data directly into external tools such as Claude, Microsoft Copilot, and ChatGPT. The platform is currently in preview, with general availability scheduled for early 2027.
