Berkshire Financial Services Debuts Targeted MCA Debt Relief Programs

Two decades of managing merchant cash advance debt have led Fort Lauderdale-based Berkshire Financial Services to abandon generic restructuring tactics in favor of two distinct, purpose-built programs. The firm now segments clients based on a single critical factor: whether the business remains current on its payments or faces imminent default.

The new offerings, titled The Cashflow Reset™ and The Priority Ladder™, move away from the industry-standard "one-size-fits-all" approach to debt relief. According to Chief Operating Officer Christian Smith, the strategy acknowledges that a business nearing its final weeks of liquidity requires entirely different intervention than a company struggling with the cumulative burden of multiple, stacked advances.

The Cashflow Reset™ targets companies that are currently meeting their obligations but see their daily withdrawals rapidly outpacing available cash. By acting before a default occurs, the firm aims to protect the company’s credit standing. Conversely, The Priority Ladder™ is designed for businesses juggling three or more overlapping MCA positions. This program focuses on the technical nuances of debt, prioritizing specific obligations to maximize potential discounts and leverage, rather than treating all creditors as equal threats.

Berkshire Financial Services, which operates remotely across the United States, encourages business owners to seek a confidential review to determine which path, if any, suits their financial reality. While the firm emphasizes the need for rapid action in high-pressure scenarios, it notes that outcomes depend heavily on individual circumstances and does not guarantee specific debt reductions or total debt elimination.
