Alkami Hosts Webinar on Digital Banking Platform Transitions

Choosing between upgrading a legacy system or switching digital banking providers often paralyzes financial institutions. On October 7, 2026, Alkami Technology and ProSight Financial Association will host a webinar to help bank leaders evaluate the operational risks and implementation realities of moving to a modern platform.

The session features executives from National Exchange Bank & Trust and Tri City National Bank, who will dissect the hidden costs of stagnation. Nicholas Bandoch of Tri City National Bank noted that while sticking with a current provider may appear safer, institutions must weigh the consequences of a platform failing to evolve alongside customer expectations. The discussion moves beyond high-level strategy to address the granular work required for a successful conversion, such as data sanitation, cross-functional team assembly, and early integration discovery.

Julie Stigler, vice president of eBanking at National Exchange Bank & Trust, emphasized that identifying specific institutional processes during the evaluation phase prevents costly surprises later. Alkami’s own research reinforces the urgency of these decisions, with 27% of surveyed decision-makers indicating that a superior digital experience is a primary driver for switching providers. The webinar will provide a roadmap for navigating these transitions, covering everything from pre-conversion planning to post-launch support and account holder feedback loops.
