The test focused on creating a unified digital representation of a mission, linking people, drones, and sensor nodes through the company’s proprietary eVa (Elastic Vector Addressing) system. Rather than relying on isolated data feeds, the Mission Fabric platform maintains active relationships between elements as they move and change. An AI-assisted layer, known as the Map of Everything, allows operators to interact with this shifting context in real time, accounting for communication gaps and variable field conditions.
CEO and Co-founder Charles Adelman emphasized that the transition from scripted environments to unpredictable field scenarios was the primary objective of Phase I. The company successfully tracked evolving mission relationships while maintaining persistent identities for all involved assets. Moving forward, the project will incorporate more complex scenarios and sensor integrations, using feedback from the initial field trial to refine their broader mission infrastructure for terrestrial, airborne, and space-based applications.
