The gala honors the legacy of Chris-Tia Donaldson, the late founder of the Thank God It’s Natural (tgin) brand and a vocal breast cancer advocate. Since the foundation’s inception, it has focused on providing tangible support, including transportation for patients and educational outreach. CEO Aris Singleton noted the event serves as both a celebration of survivorship and a call to action to ensure equitable access to care for all women.
Over the past eight years, the foundation has reached more than 25,000 women through education and provided over 1,000 rides to medical appointments. Executive Director Dr. Piper Farrell emphasized that these efforts address the systemic gaps she witnessed firsthand while caring for her sister. The funds raised this year will further expand these initiatives, including screening access, wellness resources, and treatment support for those disproportionately affected by breast health disparities.
