Kim Vu Bridges Medical Interpretation and Poetry in New Collection

A former Stanford medical interpreter, Vietnamese-born author Kim Vu has released his latest poetry collection, "REALLY?," a work that navigates the intersection of philosophy, humor, and the fragility of human connection. The book serves as a contemplative mirror for readers to examine their own experiences with love and time.

Vu, who spent sixteen years facilitating communication at Stanford Hospital and Clinics, brings a distinct observational precision to his twenty-four published works. In "REALLY?," he pivots away from clinical interpretation toward the abstract, utilizing poems like "Fleeting Image" to argue that beauty often resides in the transient. By weaving together themes of desire and Buddhist inquiry, the author rejects rigid interpretations, preferring instead to invite the reader into an open dialogue with the text.

The collection reflects a broader artistic evolution for the author, who now balances writing with Tantric Zen brushwork and multimedia projects. Published by Archway Publishing, the book is available in softcover, hardcover, and electronic formats via Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Through this latest release, Vu challenges the audience to slow down and find intentionality within the contradictions of daily life.
