The new AI suite allows users to draft, summarize, and translate content through a dedicated tab, eliminating the need to move data to third-party tools. Organizations retain control over the underlying models, utilizing OpenRouter for cloud deployments or connecting directly to local models for server-based installations to ensure data privacy. Beyond intelligence tools, the update introduces four modular applications—AI Agents, Forms, Files, and Rooms—which function as extensions under the AGPL v3 license to manage knowledge bases, data collection, and secure virtual data rooms.
Technical enhancements span the entire editor ecosystem. The PDF tool now supports automatic table recognition and metadata removal, while the Document Editor improves real-time co-authoring and RTL support. Spreadsheet performance has been optimized with faster function processing, and mobile users on iOS and Android gain voice input alongside new AI providers like Grok and DeepSeek. Addressing security, the 10.0 release resolves 35 vulnerabilities to bolster defenses against modern digital threats.
