Hypersign Debuts Intent-Based In-Room Hotel Engagement Platform

Spartanburg-based Hypersign.com has launched InRoom Guest, a digital platform allowing hotels to customize television interfaces based on the specific purpose of a traveler's stay. By moving away from static room displays, the software tailors content—from wedding schedules to business agendas—directly to the guest's unique reason for visiting.

The platform utilizes intent-based theming, enabling property managers to curate distinct experiences for wedding parties, conference attendees, and vacationing families. Rather than relying on a universal interface, staff can manage content across individual rooms or entire portfolios from a single centralized dashboard. This customization includes localized recommendations for dining and activities that align with the specific nature of the guest's trip.

Connectivity remains a primary focus, as the system integrates with Apple, Google, and LG ecosystems. Guests can securely cast content from personal devices using a QR code, with automatic logout protocols triggered upon checkout. Beyond entertainment, the platform provides access to over 450 live channels and a patent-pending AdEngine. This advertising tool allows operators to promote internal amenities, such as spa services or room upgrades, alongside sponsored content from local tourism partners. Neil Willis, founder and CEO of Hypersign, noted that the technology addresses the disconnect often found in traditional hotel room media, aiming to foster brand loyalty through higher engagement. The system is currently available to hospitality operators globally.
