Trinity Capital Reports $2 Billion in Year-to-Date Commitments

With $880 million in new commitments secured during the third quarter of 2026, Phoenix-based Trinity Capital has pushed its total investment activity for the first nine months of the year to $2 billion. The alternative asset manager continues to lean heavily into secured lending and equipment financing across its portfolio.

The company’s third-quarter performance was anchored by $614 million in gross funded investments. This capital deployment included $378 million in secured loans, $159 million dedicated to equipment financing, and $77 million allocated to warrant and equity interests. Of the total funding, $432 million was directed toward 15 new portfolio companies, while $118 million supported existing ventures. Liquidity remained a focus during the period, as the firm realized $495 million in gross proceeds from exits and debt repayments.

Looking at the broader 2026 fiscal trajectory, Trinity Capital has funded $1.5 billion in total investments since January. This includes $1.1 billion in secured loans and $322 million in equipment financings across a diverse range of sectors. The firm plans to provide a granular breakdown of its financial health and operational strategy during a conference call scheduled for November 4, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. ET.
