Avaline has officially surpassed long-standing competitors to become the top organic wine brand in the United States. This growth is backed by a 30% year-over-year increase in dollar sales, marking the fastest expansion of any top-200 wine brand in the country for the 52-week period ending September 5, 2026. Retailers attribute this success to the brand’s ability to capture Gen Z and Millennial demographics by integrating into major chains like Kroger, Whole Foods, Albertsons, and Target.
CEO Jennifer Purcell noted that the company’s trajectory shifted from market disruptor to category leader by maintaining a transparent approach to winemaking. Every bottle features organic grapes and a full list of ingredients, a practice the founders adopted at the company's 2020 inception. With an expanded digital footprint on platforms including Instacart and DoorDash, the brand is now focused on scaling its European-sourced portfolio to meet rising demand for clean-label alcohol products.
