The holiday festivities kick off with an exclusive preview party on November 20, featuring cocktails, carolers, and early access to the Artisan Fair in the Carriage House. This fundraising evening supports the Castle Preservation Society, which marks its 20th anniversary this year. Following the launch, the estate opens to the public every Saturday and Sunday from November 21 through December 6, between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Guests can tour the mansion, view decorations curated by local businesses, participate in craft workshops, and visit with Santa while enjoying complimentary refreshments.
Executive Director Charles Clark noted that the chosen theme aligns with current museum exhibits detailing the history of the property originally developed by Thomas G. Plant in 1913. Beyond standard daytime access, the estate is bringing back its popular Twilight Tours. Held at 3:00 p.m. on event dates, these limited-capacity tours offer an intimate look at the mansion illuminated by holiday lights. Visitors looking to extend their experience can also dine at the Carriage House Restaurant, which will be open throughout the event series.
