The complaint filed against Doximity claims the company misled shareholders by inflating the revenue impact of its Newsfeed platform. According to the allegations, Doximity obscured the fact that it was steadily losing market share to competitors offering more effective pricing and engagement strategies. The suit further asserts that the firm relied on basic banner ads and newsletters rather than the deep engagement tactics previously touted to investors.
Legal firm Glancy Prongay Wolke & Rotter LLP is currently organizing the class action. Potential plaintiffs who purchased stock during the specified period are not required to take immediate action to remain class members, but those seeking to lead the litigation must file with the court by the November deadline. The firm, recognized for its work in investor recoveries, stated that no class has been formally certified at this stage.
