Investors Face November Deadline in Better Home Securities Lawsuit

Investors who purchased Better Home & Finance Holding Company securities between March 13 and May 7, 2026, face a November 20, 2026, deadline to seek appointment as lead plaintiff in a pending class action lawsuit filed by the Rosen Law Firm.

The lawsuit alleges that Better Home misled shareholders by failing to disclose that its conversion funnel was hindered by macroeconomic pressures. According to the complaint, these undisclosed issues rendered the company’s $1 billion monthly funded volume target unattainable, causing the firm’s public statements regarding its operational health to lack a reasonable basis. Investors who suffered financial losses when these details emerged may be eligible for compensation.

While the class has not yet been certified, those seeking to participate or serve as a representative party must file with the court by the November 20 cutoff. Legal counsel Phillip Kim is managing inquiries for the Rosen Law Firm, which is representing the plaintiffs on a contingency fee basis. Investors are not required to act as lead plaintiffs to remain part of the class, and they maintain the right to select their own legal representation until formal certification occurs.
