The company’s revenue climbed to 2.64 billion dollars, surpassing analyst expectations of 2.61 billion. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization reached 895.8 million dollars, a healthy increase from the 830.3 million reported during the same period last year. Net income rose to 359.2 million dollars, or 1.43 dollars per share, while adjusted net income hit 1.58 dollars per share, comfortably beating the 1.53 dollars forecast by analysts.
Chief Executive Ron Mittelstaedt attributed the performance to a 7% increase in special waste and a 5% rise in construction and demolition debris. Large-scale infrastructure projects, including data centers, highways, and semiconductor manufacturing plants, are driving this demand. The company is using this pricing power and volume growth to navigate macroeconomic headwinds and volatility in diesel prices. Consequently, the 2026 revenue outlook has been raised to 10.09 billion dollars, up from the previous estimate of 10.05 billion.
