The Windsor-based company reported third-quarter profit of $198.9 million, a decline from the $210 million recorded during the same period last year. While per-share earnings of $1.78 managed to edge past analyst estimates of $1.77, the broader financial picture weighed heavily on sentiment. Adjusted revenue dropped 7.8% to $1.69 billion, aligning with consensus projections but failing to provide the momentum investors sought.
Management’s guidance for the full year now anticipates revenue between $6.74 billion and $6.78 billion, falling short of the $6.78 billion consensus. The fourth-quarter outlook is equally cautious, with revenue expected to land between $1.7 billion and $1.74 billion against analyst targets of $1.75 billion. With this latest downturn, the stock has erased previous gains, leaving it down 3.7% for the year.
