Baker Hughes Revenue Climbs on Industrial and Energy Demand

The company’s adjusted earnings hit 70 cents a share, comfortably clearing the 61-cent consensus estimated by FactSet analysts. Growth was distributed across core segments: the industrial and energy technology unit saw sales climb 3% to $3.48 billion, while oilfield services and equipment recorded a 1% increase to $3.66 billion. The recent integration of thermal management firm Chart Industries contributed an additional $888 million to the top line.

Chief Executive Lorenzo Simonelli pointed to a confluence of factors driving this performance, specifically citing global energy security needs and the power demands associated with artificial intelligence. Looking ahead, the company has raised its long-term outlook, projecting that orders for its industrial and energy technology segment will exceed $50 billion between 2026 and 2028.
