Independent Chair Donna James secured a decisive victory, capturing more than 99% of the vote when excluding ballots cast by BBRC International. The private investment firm had launched a formal proxy contest against James while simultaneously voting against every other director nominee, with the notable exception of Chief Executive Hillary Super.
Support for the remaining board members remained robust despite the pressure. Each of the other nominees received at least 81% approval from total votes cast. When BBRC International’s dissenting shares are removed from the tally, that support level rises to at least 96% across the board.
