Following Brenntag in the rankings are US-based Tricon Energy with $14.0 billion in sales and Univar Solutions at $11.5 billion. China-based Sinochem Petrochemical Distribution followed with $8.7 billion, while Japan-based Nagase & Co rounded out the top five with $6.0 billion. These figures reflect a year defined by increased focus on supply security as industry leaders navigate the complexities of international conflict and logistics disruptions.

Joseph Chang, global editor of ICIS Chemical Business, noted that distributors are proving their resilience by adapting to a volatile environment. The complete report, which details approximately 300 companies, was compiled with support from major industry bodies including the Fecc, the Alliance for Chemical Distribution, and the International Chemical Trade Association. The data utilizes 2025 year-end currency exchange rates to provide a standardized view of the global chemical supply chain.
