TrustCloud Launches AI-Native Platform to Automate Application Security

Boston-based TrustCloud is moving to eliminate manual security audits with the launch of Application Assurance, an AI-powered platform designed to replace quarterly snapshots with continuous monitoring. The system aims to provide CISOs with real-time visibility into security controls across thousands of enterprise applications, cutting assessment cycles from months to days.

The platform addresses a long-standing industry reliance on spreadsheets and sporadic email-based evidence collection. By deploying a Control Graph, TrustCloud aggregates data feeds to create a living model of an organization's risk surface, mapping technology dependencies against regulatory obligations. This engine powers an AI Assessment Agent that automatically identifies security gaps and translates technical findings into business-impact reports suitable for board-level review.

Tejas Ranade, co-founder and Chief Product Officer, argues that security confidence should be earned continuously rather than declared once a quarter. The shift is intended to bridge the growing gap between the complexity of cloud-native architectures and the limited capacity of security teams. TrustCloud reports that the platform is already active within Global 2000 enterprises, with validated results showing an average 63% reduction in residual risk and a productivity gain equivalent to 133 days saved per user annually. By scaling application coverage from roughly 20% to 96%, the tool allows security leaders to prioritize investments based on verifiable data rather than intuition.
