At the center of the acquisition is zumilokibart (APG777), a monoclonal antibody targeting IL-13 that has shown promise in treating atopic dermatitis. By incorporating Apogee’s pipeline—including the combination therapy APG273 for asthma—AbbVie aims to accelerate its expansion into the respiratory market. Robert A.
