Incisive Centralizes Dental Lab Management to Reduce Practice Overhead

Dental practices juggling fragmented relationships with multiple laboratories now have a unified digital dashboard for tracking cases and finances. Boston-based Incisive launched its new portal today, designed to eliminate the administrative friction of reconciling disparate billing systems, case statuses, and communication channels across various restorative vendors.

The platform provides a centralized view where practice teams can monitor case progress by patient, lab, or status. By consolidating invoices and equipment commitments into a single interface, the tool aims to replace the manual process of cross-referencing information from multiple sources. CEO Addison Freeman noted that streamlining these logistics allows clinicians to focus on restorative quality, which directly influences patient outcomes.

Looking toward future updates, the company intends to leverage portal data to provide practices with benchmarking metrics, including case quality, remake rates, and turnaround times. Marcus Singer, VP of Product, emphasized that the primary goal remains reducing the clerical burden on staff. Currently, Incisive supports more than 600 doctors nationwide, offering a network of nine specialty labs and integrated digital equipment under a single partnership model.
