Beyond these core precautions, the organization advises drivers to avoid cell phone distractions, address vehicle safety recalls, and remain vigilant against the risks of heat-related dangers for passengers and pets left in stationary cars. The group continues to advocate for its Road to Zero initiative, a long-term campaign aimed at eliminating roadway deaths through systemic safety improvements and individual responsibility.
