Point32Health Named to National List of Top Community-Minded Firms

For the sixth time, Canton-based Point32Health has secured a spot on The Civic 50, an annual ranking by the nonprofit Points of Light. The parent company of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Tufts Health Plan stands as one of only five New England organizations to earn the distinction for 2026.

The recognition highlights the company’s efforts in corporate social responsibility, focusing on employee volunteerism, strategic community investments, and broader social impact initiatives. Patrick Gilligan, president and CEO of Point32Health, emphasized that the organization’s not-for-profit status fuels its commitment to local well-being, viewing healthy communities as a prerequisite for a thriving business.

Points of Light evaluates public and private companies with annual revenues exceeding $1 billion to identify those effectively integrating purpose into their operational models. Jennifer Sirangelo, president and CEO of the nonprofit, noted that Point32Health’s approach successfully embeds social impact into the employee experience. Serving nearly 2 million members, the health organization continues to prioritize community engagement as a core business practice rather than a peripheral program.
