The judging panel awarded first place to the company’s Bocconcini in the Fresh Mozzarella class, while their Ciliegine entry took second. In the Flavored Soft Cheese category, the Chocolate Mascarpone claimed the top spot, bolstered by a second-place finish for their Marinated Fresh Mozzarella Ciliegine. The manufacturer also rounded out their performance with a third-place showing in the String Cheese class for their Farmers Rope Skinny Sticks.

Roseanne Crave, sales and marketing manager, described the wins as a testament to the team's commitment to high-quality standards. The competition serves as a significant benchmark for the state’s dairy industry, evaluating entries based on flavor, texture, and appearance. Crave Brothers continues to utilize milk from their own Holstein herd on their 2,500-acre Waterloo farm, maintaining a focus on sustainability through onsite water recovery and biodigester systems.
