The new facility, known as A-HUB, will function as a high-throughput innovation foundry. It combines ATLANT 3D’s Direct Atomic Layer Processing (DALP®) technology with the deep materials engineering expertise of A*STAR IMRE and the industrial scaling capabilities of NAMIC. The project intends to create a closed-loop digital ecosystem that moves materials from laboratory research to the factory floor more efficiently than traditional methods.

Dr. Maksym Plakhotnyuk, founder of ATLANT 3D, noted that the initiative will establish a premier global site for atomic-level manufacturing. For A*STAR IMRE, the collaboration provides a vital pathway to translate complex thin-film research into practical industrial applications. Dr. Ho Chaw Sing of NAMIC emphasized that the platform will serve as a shared resource for research and industry partners, reinforcing Singapore’s infrastructure in the competitive advanced manufacturing sector.
