The collaboration, dubbed "Power the Limitless," aligns the marathon’s reputation for record-breaking speed with LONGi’s focus on high-efficiency cell technology. For the solar manufacturer, the event serves as a platform to introduce its premium home energy brand, EcoLife, to a regional audience increasingly seeking energy independence. According to Wood Mackenzie, LONGi remains the top global solar module producer, a stature the company hopes to mirror in its European expansion.
Beyond the race course, both organizations cite a shared commitment to long-term sustainability. LONGi continues its "Solar for Solar" initiative, aiming for net-zero emissions by 2050, while SCC EVENTS integrates environmental and social responsibility into the marathon’s operational framework. Christian Jost, CEO of SCC EVENTS, noted that the partnership reflects a mutual focus on human potential and responsible growth. While specific activation plans remain under wraps, the move marks a significant shift in how the energy giant intends to integrate its technology into everyday consumer life.
