Developed by the company’s European technical team, the new tire represents a localized approach to R&D and manufacturing. Production is slated for Linglong’s European facility, a site already holding quality certifications from major automakers including Volkswagen, Audi, BMW, and Ford. By keeping the design loop within the region, the firm aims to satisfy strict safety and handling benchmarks.
Technical improvements over the previous generation focus on three areas: precision steering enabled by aramid-reinforced tread blocks, consistent wet-weather braking performance throughout the tire's lifespan, and increased durability derived from advanced silane compounds. The design also incorporates aesthetic upgrades, featuring laser-engraved sidewalls with a velvet-like finish.
Available in sizes ranging from 16 to 22 inches, the SPORT MASTER 2 is designed to outfit everything from sedans to SUVs. The first 74 specifications are scheduled to enter production in spring 2027. This release serves as the centerpiece of Linglong’s broader "three-upward" strategy, intended to cement the brand's presence among global premium tire suppliers.
