This retail milestone follows a broader distribution push that recently added over 1,100 Food Lion stores and 250 Harris Teeter locations to the company's footprint. Traci Mishner, Vice President of Marketing and Trade Operations, noted that the move targets a highly engaged consumer base that treats travel centers as primary shopping destinations. Beyond land-based retail, the brand has also secured placement across the entire fleets of Carnival Cruise Line and Princess Cruises.
The company is currently diversifying its product lineup to capture a larger share of the condiment category. The recent debut of a seven-flavor BBQ sauce collection, now arriving in 299 Hy-Vee stores, highlights a shift toward lower-sugar, clean-ingredient alternatives. Founded by entrepreneur Carl DeSantis, Tabañero continues to emphasize its sourcing of peppers from Tabasco, Mexico, while maintaining a production base in the United States. With products now in more than 8,500 retail locations, the brand is scaling its presence across grocery, foodservice, and specialty travel channels simultaneously.
