This framework now informs pre-anesthesia assessments across both national and international healthcare systems.

Beyond his research, Dr. King has shaped professional standards through his tenure with the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology. As a former practice committee chairperson and elected director, he contributed to over 50 evidence-based resources aimed at improving patient access and care quality.
