The authorization marks a strategic expansion for the Orlando-headquartered carrier, which plans to deploy its fleet to facilitate the delivery of life-saving supplies to communities in need. National Airlines Chairman Chris Alf noted that the company intends to leverage its experience in complex operating environments to provide efficient airlift capabilities in support of U.S. government humanitarian missions.
Established in 1991, the airline operates a specialized fleet including Boeing 747-400 and 777-200 freighters, alongside Airbus A330 passenger aircraft. This infrastructure supports a global logistics network that serves sectors ranging from defense and pharmaceuticals to energy and high-tech manufacturing. With this new regulatory approval, the company gains additional flexibility to execute time-sensitive emergency response missions across its international operational hubs.
