The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum transformed into a stage for high-end home technology this week as LG Signature debuted its latest appliance collections. The October 8 event showcased the brand’s new Iconic, Seamless, and Tailored lines through a series of immersive installations. John Mayer provided a live musical set, while pastry chef Amaury Guichon and culinary artist Kwame Onwuachi curated the evening’s gastronomic experience. The event also featured an awards ceremony recognizing Barrymore, Guichon, and Onwuachi for their contributions to their respective fields, aligning with the brand’s focus on individual expression.

Each collection targets a specific aesthetic and functional niche. The Iconic series integrates AI-enhanced performance into statement pieces, while the Seamless line emphasizes architectural integration using flush-fit technology and Zero Clearance hinges. The Tailored collection focuses on personalization, featuring an Essence White finish and refined hardware details. According to Kevin Jeong, executive vice president of home appliance solutions at LG, the Guggenheim served as a deliberate backdrop to mirror the company's shift toward quiet luxury and design-forward home infrastructure.
