Tokyo-based NTT Data Intramart Corp. (3850.TO) posted a significant jump in profitability for the first nine months of the fiscal year, driven by robust top-line growth. According to the company’s latest financial filing, net profit soared to ¥618 million for the period ending December 31, a substantial rise from the ¥149 million reported during the same timeframe the previous year.

Accelerated Earnings Growth

The company’s operating performance showed significant momentum, with operating profit more than quadrupling. This surge reflects a broader improvement in efficiency as the firm capitalized on increased demand within the Japanese market.

Key financial metrics for the nine-month period include:

  • Total revenue reached ¥10.33 billion, up from ¥8.48 billion.
    • Operating profit climbed to ¥966 million compared to ¥228 million.
  • Pretax profit hit the ¥1.00 billion mark, rising from ¥269 million.
Earnings per share also saw a dramatic uptick, jumping to ¥126.97 from ¥30.74 in the prior year. These results, prepared under Japanese accounting standards, underscore a period of rapid expansion for the company as it heads into the final quarter of its fiscal year.
