Abbott, who stepped into the chief executive role this past January, will now oversee the company’s strategic trajectory from within the board of directors. The appointment takes effect immediately, aligning the firm’s executive leadership with its long-term commercial goals.

According to Abbott, this move marks a transition from the initial de-risking phase toward the full-scale development of what the company describes as a world-class resource.
